Well this part used to start as the following:

My name is Gosia; an entrepreneur, writer, philanthropist and photography enthusiast……

When I decided to re-make my website I got stuck on my “about me” page and got hit with writers block. I was stuck for a little while trying to figure out why I didn’t have any flow in my writing and why I hit a wall. Then one day it hit me like a freight train – I was so desperately trying to write for other people; but the main problem was I didn’t have a specific target audience/niche. And so again, my writing face planted a brick wall. Then LIGHTBULB – write for myself! Who better to attract and write for then people who are like-minded; who are as lost yet stargazed as me. I may not have a specific clear niche but this a journey I’m happy to embark on together with my readers.

My Story…

I graduated college with a journalism diploma back in 2008 (yes that many years ago!). After I graduated, I did freelance work for several years at a dance music TV station; my work was mainly online writing – I guess you can say I was their freelance writer. But not knowing my worth I had to juggle dead-end full-time and part-time jobs (yes I bounced from job to job a few times). After a few years I fell into limbo (not talking about the dance contest that originated in Trinidad) and with this I put my life on auto-pilot. The “life” I dreamed of and promised myself I will step towards “tomorrow” faded further and further away. It was as though I personally put myself into a cage and sat there looking at the open door too afraid to step out. Some will call this period of my life depression (which I at one point labelled it as well). Whatever it was, it is time I will NEVER get back! There were opportunities that I let slip by because of the fear of two outcomes; (1) what if I fail and (2) what if I succeed – what next?

2014 was a year where I thought to myself; ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and I pulled myself out of this rut, stepped out of the “music scene” and ventured onto a new path….. Travel Writing. I enrolled in an online travel writing course with MatadorU and thought “YES! This is it – everything is gonna change for the better now.” But then what happened? Well, I didn’t commit and wasn’t consistent with the course and another year goes by on auto-pilot with me still at my routine, dead-end full-time job. At the same time I started questioning if maybe because of the lack of stamps on my passport, is there even a point of me stepping onto this path? Which stuck in my mind for a while! 2015 arrived faster than I thought; man does time fly when you are on auto-pilot. That year when I  blew out my 28 candles I made a decision that things have to change! I de-cluttered my thoughts, worked on a lot of personal development and finally opened my eyes to my potential, my dreams and where my vision is pointing towards!

What is The Boundless Lifestyle?

This website (or as some may call it “blog”) is for the people who did not (and continue to not) pursue their passion, goals and dreams, to the people who don’t have a clear vision or path, to the people who “woke up” at a point and got thrown back by all the time they “wasted” (even those who are still stuck in that “sleep-like” state). To the people who have thought of hundreds of excuses as to why they can’t do this or will fail at doing that – it’s time to open your eyes and see how truly boundless life can be. It starts with YOU!

What I hope The Boundless Lifestyle will do for you is abolish all your fears and excuses, will help you eliminate all the limitations you yourself have created in your mind. I hope you will get a clear(er) vision of your dreams and goals. That you become BOLD and courageous (YES we all have it in us) to go after what you want out of life, where you want your life to go and make your dreams your reality!

May this website encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, explore the world you live in, open your heart to people around you, embrace your individuality and above all live your life to it’s fullest potential.

I also believe everyone has a unique story that is meant to be shared. We all live together on this beautiful planet we call home, we need to love and help each other. The Boundless Lifestyle is also a place where I can share people’s stories and/or my interviews with them.

Life is a beautiful adventure. The sad thing is most people do not realize this and instead of living their lives – they simply exist.
